Behrends Lucken-Best Jump Start
19% protein feed medicated with 200g of Lincomycin.  This helps reduce the severity of swine mycoplasmal pneumonia.  Lincomycin in the liquid form has been used as a treatment for arthritis caused by susceptible organisms.  Behrends Lucken-Best Jump Start should be fed for 21 days before moving to one of the Lucken-Best Complete feeds.

Our customers have several medication choices to choose from in our 18% protein Lucken-Best Complete feed, as well as a non-medicated ration.  Each feed offers different medications depending on your pigs needs.  Each ration also contains everything else that your pigs will need to get ready for the stock show season:

· Oxytetracycline and Neomycin Base: This medication is added to aid in treatment and prevention of bacterial enteritis (scours).  There is a 5 day withdrawal with this feed.

· Lincomycin 40:  Used in the treatment of dysentery.  There is NO withdrawal.

· Lincomycin 100:  Used in the treatment of dysentery. Lincomycin in liquid form has been known as a treatment for arthritis caused by susceptible organisms. This feed is designed to be fed as a sole ration for 3 weeks or until signs of dysentery disappear.  There is a 6 day withdrawal.

· Behrends Power Pig:  With Chromium Picolinate. 

· Behrends Pig Lean:  This feed contains Ractopamine HCl (Paylean), which helps increase the rate of weight gain and lean muscle mass.  We recommend that you start feeding 3 weeks prior to show.
